Opening Strategy: Build a Trust Web

The easiest path to your first demo victory is to cluster information by trust level. Start with characters that offer binary answers—Oracle, Hunter, and Baker are reliable early anchors.

Cross-reference nightly clues. When two villagers point to the same suspect, mark them trustworthy until proven otherwise.
Track positional claims. Roles like Knitter or Puppeteer reference adjacency. Sketching a quick seating map helps catch contradictions.
Leave risky executions for last. Bombardiers and other explosive roles can still be good. Use their claims to bait evil characters into lying rather than pulling the trigger immediately.

Once you reveal your first Minion or Demon, the rest spiral quickly—lies collapse under the weight of earlier claims. Staying patient is the real challenge.
